GEM logo design competition starts

  26 November 2014

The Grand Egyptian Museum launches its “Logo Design Competition” on 26 November 2014. GEM set 25 December as a deadline for submitting entries.

The Grand Egyptian Museum has currently an official logo but it would like to incorporate a logo that draw inspiration from the Ancient Egyptian civilization and the elements that distinguish GEM from other museums (Tutankhamon, the Pyramids view).

The competition is open for public inside/outside Egypt. The requirements of participation will be posted on GEM official website. The competition will pass through three stages to select the 10 most attractive designs, then they will be short-listed by a specialized committee to three designs that will be publically announced through social media for public voting. The winners will receive symbolic prizes in an award ceremony.
